Benyamin Arisoy, SE. M.Si, born in Serui on February 4, 1962, is a dedicated leader who has long committed himself to the advancement of Papua. With a strong background as a retired civil servant and a member of the Papua Provincial Parliament, Benyamin Arisoy deeply understands the needs of the people of the Yapen Islands. A devout Protestant Christian, residing at Jalan Raya Angkasa – Pasir 2 Jayapura, he is ready to lead this region with a commitment to creating a more prosperous future for all its citizens.

Over the years, Benyamin Arisoy has climbed various ranks, enhancing his capabilities as a bureaucrat. Starting as a Junior Administrator (III/a) and rising to the level of Intermediate Senior Administrator (IV/d), he has carried out numerous duties and responsibilities with dedication. This experience highlights his ability and credibility in leading and managing bureaucracy at various levels of government.

C.     Career History

Benyamin Arisoy’s career began as a Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) and eventually led to his role as a member of the Papua Provincial Parliament. His extensive experience includes strategic positions such as Head of the Fisheries Department, Regional Secretary of Jayawijaya Regency, and Acting Regent of Nduga Regency. This experience has shaped Benyamin Arisoy into a leader with a grand vision and solid managerial skills, ready to bring positive change to the Yapen Islands Regency.

Benyamin Arisoy holds a strong educational background, with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Cenderawasih University Jayapura and a Master's degree in Regional Finance from Gajah Mada University-Yogyakarta. His formal education is complemented by various leadership and technical training courses, making him not only knowledgeable but also skilled in managing regional finances and assets.

E.     Domestic/International Training Experience

Benyamin Arisoy’s experience also includes various training programs, both domestic and international, which have provided him with deep insights into government and financial management. A notable highlight is his study on Property Tax Management in Malaysia, which enriched his perspective on regional revenue management.

F.     Experience as a Speaker in National-Level Seminars/Workshops/Discussions

Benyamin Arisoy has also been active as a speaker in various national seminars and workshops, focusing on regional financial management and anti-corruption efforts. His role as an instructor and Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency demonstrates his proactive leadership in sharing knowledge and experience for the betterment of Papua.

From being a member of GMKI to serving as Chairman of the National Consultation Committee of the Indonesian Christian Student Movement, Benyamin Arisoy has remained actively involved in social and religious activities, showing his concern for human resource development and strengthening organizational capacity.
